The KidLit Foundation is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization formed in 2009 to help get new books into the hands of Bureau County children who couldn't otherwise afford them. We were created by a group of concerned citizens who saw a need to bolster literacy in preschool and grade school children. Our target group is children ages 2-9. The foundation is currently working with publishers to get books with the plan to begin distribution in early 2011.
